2008 Black Weblog Awards: Who Did I Nominate This Year?

I didn't learn about the Black Weblog Awards until last year as the winners were announced. In fact, some blogs on my list of favorites came via my curious clicking on the 2007 winners list.

This year I am determined to participate to make sure Black blogs get their props. You can't vote for yourself, so if you like anything you see here, use the link in my sidebar to send me some nomination-love. You can nominate your favorite blogs through August 17, 2008.

@RawDawg: LOL. You know you get love here. It was a hard choice, because I was reading quite a few of these blogs before I found my way to your spot. Besides, from what I can see, there are folks holding-down your spot in the nominations. And frankly, I'd like to see you get one of the awards. Voting starts this weekend!

Thanks for the nomination. And I nominated you about a week and a half ago when I first found out about the Black weblog awards. I havent been blogging for long so I only knew of you and about three more Black bloggers. I nominated you for Political and blog to watch!!

Wow! I thank you very much for the nominations. Apparently, we were thinking of each other and didn't even realize it.

I see your blog made it to the Teen Blog finals. As such, you should see traffic to your blog increase (and probably already has). You'll have new readers, probably internationally, who will learn about your story.
